So many of us have been loving story time and the dress ups, so we decided to learn a bit more about Fairytales during Explore!
Since being back at school, we have found sharing the class toys and taking turns a bit difficult - we got used to not having so many other children to share with! So during Fairytale Explore we worked hard to practise sharing and taking turns.

Zach T, Shelby and Elijah worked so hard to share the dinosaurs (dragons) and build a castle together
Ella and Maia had great fun practising their drama skills and acting like princesses!
Teityn used the rods and balls to make a house for his big bad wolf!
Nina got creative while making her wand, and loved using it to cast spells!
There was lots of 'Abra cadrabra!' happening in Piako Tahi this week
Tanya, Milana, Zac P, Jamie, Charlie, Luca B and Ella getting creative to make magical fairytale wands
Charlie was very proud of his wand and used it's magic to help him find his way out of the beanstalk maze!
Kupa and Levi were SO focused to help Jack find his way up the beanstalk maze
Miwa and Courtney were great at sharing the Elsa dress!
Ethan and Kenta had to carefully measure their crowns to make them fit on their heads - they were so proud of their King crowns!
Toby, Teityn and Ethan worked together to build a castle for the dragons to protect. They practised turn taking and compromising to build their castle!
Felix and Ryan had a great time building on each others ideas to make a home for their dragons
Our WOW Wall this week was full of creative crafts - well done to everyone that made it on to the WOW wall!
