Reading Rocket Lists

We have had lots of requests for new Rocket Lists during distance learning time from children who love practising their Reading Rocket words! How cool!
Please see below our Reading Rocket Lists to help your child practise and learn new words that they will come across lots in their Reading books. Please only encourage your child to learn a new list if they can quickly recognise every word on their current list. 

Remember - sometimes if we speed through the lists too fast we can forget some of the words that used to be really easy for us so it is important to keep checking that we can still quickly recognise the words from our older lists too. When we are back at school the teachers will do a check on Rocket Words and fill in any stickers you have not been able to get. Until then - you could draw a cool picture in the rocket space on the front page of your Reading Rocket once you know all the words for that level! 

If you think your child knows all of the words from these lists please go back to Level 1 and practise spelling each word (making sure the letters are formed correctly - starting from the top!)
